The job title sounds gempak right? but the name has not been definitely satiated as satisfying career. at first, suburban`s peoples called PPP as dressar/MA. Now, it changed to assistant medical officer (PPP). where do with his career path? certainly many are wondering what the MA`s do?
This included some of the field work & career as PPP: -
- primer health care - conducts screening of patients,examine,diagnose and provide treatment on minor ailment,provide counseling and health educations.
- specific services - Wellness program,Non-communicable Disease Program, Communicable Disease Program,specialized services(emergency,general medicine,surgery,orthopedic,cardiology, nephrology etc.), sub-specialty services(neurophysiology,plastic surgery,nuclear medicine, spinal surgery and etc.), professional training and in-service training, research and quality practices and regulatory and enforcement practices.
however, there is little aggrieved most civil servants are where the real task of assistant medical officers taken by a doctor and is now the office of the PPP held not just in name only as beautiful as the name of the post. Birth of too many doctors graduate from a public or private sector to some extent interfere with the duties of assistant medical officers. Title of doctor 'google' and 'youtube' was born not on the basis of actual work experience. No attitude of cooperation between medical staff from other career fields. Last-hand conflict occurs if the offense while on duty and attitude on-phone call and not on-call during an emergency call cause disputes and misunderstandings between staff. Medical equipment used by doctors are often lost and finally the management of the hospital / clinic to incur losses due to negligent use. The lack of efficiency in the diagnosis of disease leads to full disease contraindications.
